How to Install Games in Steam
Install Games from Your Steam Library
Log in to Steam
Launch the Steam client and log in with the account credentials provided when you purchased the game through Game Hub.
Make sure to click the "Remember me" checkbox when logging in for the first time, but do not enable Steam Guard if prompted, as this could lock you out of the account.
Navigate to Your Library
Click on the "Library" tab at the top of the Steam client window. This will show all games associated with the account.
Find Your Game
Browse your library or use the search bar at the top right to find the game you want to install. If you don't see your game, check the troubleshooting section below.
Install the Game
Click on the game in your library, then click the blue "Install" button on the game's page. If you see "Stream" or "Connect" instead of "Install", click the down arrow next to it and select "This Computer".
Choose Installation Location
Select where you want to install the game. Steam will show you how much disk space is required. By default, games are installed in your Steam library folder, but you can create or choose different library folders if needed.
Wait for Download and Installation
Click "Install" to begin downloading. A progress bar will show the download and installation status. The time it takes depends on your internet speed and the size of the game.
Launch the Game
Once installation is complete, you can launch the game by clicking the "Play" button in your library. Some games may need to install additional components on first launch.
Important: After Installation
Turn Off Remote Play
In Steam, click on the "Steam" menu in the upper left corner, then select "Remote play" and turn it off.
Go Offline
Once your game is installed, click on the "Steam" menu and select "Go Offline". This will prevent any account issues and allow you to play without internet connection.
Never Log Out
To maintain access to your games, do not log out of Steam. If you need to use a different account, use the "Change Account" option instead of logging out.
Continuing Downloads in the Background
If you want to keep downloading a game even after closing the account or exiting Steam:
In the upper-left corner of Steam, click "View".
Click "Big Picture mode".
Go to the download tab and leave it open. The download will continue even if you are logged out from your account.
